Our namesake two-bedroom suite is as beautiful as it is spacious, combining original period architecture with an elegant Parisian theme and all the modern comforts you could want — A/C, wi-fi, smart HDTVs, and more.

A private balcony, en-suite bathroom, sunlit atrium kitchenette, and two large separate bedrooms invite you to stay right next door to your traveling companions, yet still enjoy the privacy of your own space.

Vaulted 14-foot ceilings soar high above it all, adding to the sense of openness and grandeur.

Each room features a luxurious king bed and a daybed if you’re traveling with kids or friends.

The sunny kitchenette has large paneled windows with wide-open sky views and everything you need to warm your leftovers and keep your drinks cool, plus a coffee/tea station, toaster, microwave, and more.

Meanwhile, two separate entrances to the shared bathroom mean you won’t disturb each other in the middle of the night.

There are also multiple sitting areas with tables and chairs for when you need to get some work done, or just want to relax over cocktails and good conversation.

And speaking of relaxation, the private balcony overlooking our gardens and the homes lining Esplanade Avenue is the perfect place to catch an evening breeze while listening to the pot pourri of sounds that drift over from the French Market, the nearby jazz clubs, and the bustling Mississippi waterfront.

Everything you need is right here for you in this unique French Quarter B&B, though we imagine you won’t spend too much time inside. After all, you’re just steps away from the city’s best entertainment, restaurants, and bars and New Orleans is calling your name.

Bed & Breakfast

Each king bed comfortably sleeps two. Each king bed comfortably sleeps two. There’s a daybed each room for additional guests if needed.
Check-in / Check-out
Check-in time is 3 p.m. or later, and check-out time is 11 a.m. Again, we operate by keyless/contactless keypad so you can come and go as you wish. For early arrivals and late departures, no worries! We can securely store your luggage.
Access to the Mansion
Entrance and exit to the Mansion and your room are all by keypad, offering keyless and contactless entry and exit. Your code will be provided to you in your pre-arrival information. The Lanaux Two-Bedroom Suite is on our second floor at the top of the staircase.
Complimentary Continental Breakfast
Continental Breakfast is provided in your room to enjoy at your leisure. It consists of coffee, tea, juice, yogurt, oatmeal, and healthy breakfast bars. (Subject to change based on availability).
Bedding
Pillowtop mattress, 500 + thread count linens, foam and feather pillows, luxurious spreads and throw pillows.
Wi-Fi
Complimentary wi-fi is provided throughout the Mansion. Login and password are provided to you in your pre-arrival information as well as our in-room manual.
TV
Two flat-screen Roku-enabled smart TVs with access to Hulu and Netflix.
Kitchenette
Microwave, refrigerator, toaster, dishes, silverware, wine opener and can opener, paper towels, dish soap.
Laundry
There is a complimentary washer and dryer at the back of the main house on the ground floor, just off the main courtyard. Laundry soap is provided.
En-suite Bath
Including shampoo, conditioner body wash, toilet paper, hairdryer, towels, and washcloths.
Air Conditioning and Heating
Each room is equipped with an individually controlled cooling and heating system, with your choice of automatic or always-on settings.
Parking
New Orleans is a very walkable city. A car is generally not necessary. Our location is perfect for walking as we are right on the border that separates the French Quarter from the Faubourg Marigny and Frenchmen Street.

We are one block from the Riverfront Streetcar and several bike rental shops, as well as on the RTA (Regional Transit Authority) routes for bus service. Uber cars and taxis are easily accessible as well. Should you decide to drive, parking can be booked with us in advance, subject to availability.

Noise
New Orleans is known for its good times and late nights. When the City is full, guests who are light sleepers need not be disturbed as we provide a sound machine and earplugs in each room.
No Smoking
The Lanaux Mansion is a nonsmoking facility to protect the historic integrity of the property, as well as guests who may have allergies.

Policies

Cancellation Policy

100% refund if you cancel at least 30 days before check-in.
50% refund (minus the service fee) if you cancel at least 14 days before check-in.
No refund if you cancel less than 14 days before check-in.

Damage and Incidentals

You will be responsible for any damage to the rental property caused by you or your party during your stay.
