COOLinary New Orleans (August 1–31)

Indulge in the culinary delights of New Orleans with COOLinary New Orleans, a month-long celebration of the city’s world-renowned cuisine. Each summer, the chefs of the Crescent city come together to offer prix-fixe lunch menus starting at $28 and three-course dinners or brunches for under $58, showcasing the finest dishes from classic gumbo to cutting-edge Creole. It’s a perfect opportunity to explore the best restaurants at an exceptional value with a taste of the heart and soul of New Orleans that you won’t find anywhere else.

White Linen Night (August 2)

Pack your finest white attire, and prepare for a night of art, culture, and elegance at White Linen Night! This annual event invites visitors and locals alike to explore the city’s most distinguished galleries, boutiques, and restaurants. As you wander through the historic Warehouse District, you’ll be treated to stunning art exhibitions, live music, and complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres. It’s a chic and lively evening celebrating New Orleans’ artistic heritage.

More than just a social gathering, White Linen Night is an experience that brings the community together and celebrates the diverse artistic expressions that make New Orleans so unique.

Satchmo SummerFest (August 2–3)

For music lovers, Satchmo SummerFest is the ultimate invitation to experience the spirit of New Orleans through the soulful sounds of jazz. Held in honor of the legendary Louis Armstrong, this festival just down the street from Lanaux Mansion at the New Orleans Jazz Museum offers two days of jazz music, food, and cultural festivities. From traditional to contemporary jazz, you’ll hear a wide range of performances by local and national artists, along with seminars, panel discussions, and film screenings that explore the life and legacy of Louis Armstrong.

Dirty Linen Night (August 9)

Following the excitement of White Linen Night, Dirty Linen Night offers another opportunity to explore the local art scene, but this time in the heart of the French Quarter. With a bit of late-night magic and a festive atmosphere that makes exploring the vibrant culture of New Orleans even more special, guests will enjoy live music, food, and drinks.

Galleries, antique shops, and boutiques extend their hours into the evening, inviting visitors to discover diverse artwork (from paintings to sculptures to photography) by both local and international artists.

While attendance is free, a wristband must be purchased here to enjoy drinks.
